Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic legal team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of legal practice, including litigation, legal drafting, and research. Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
Draft legal documents, including contracts and pleadings, under the supervision of experienced attorneys.
Participate in document review processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Conduct thorough research on case law and statutes relevant to ongoing cases.
Support the general counsel in various tasks related to fraud prevention detection and other legal matters.
Attend meetings and court proceedings as needed, providing support in litigation efforts.
Collaborate with team members on special projects and contribute to the overall efficiency of the legal department.

Experience

Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) program or equivalent legal studies program.
Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on legal drafting abilities.
Previous experience or coursework related to litigation, contract law, or fraud prevention detection is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
