Katten's Chicago office is accepting applications from law students in the graduating class of 2028 who are interested in both a 1L (Summer 2026) and a 2L (Summer 2027) position. Full participation in both programs is required. Students must attend an ABA-accredited law school in the United States in order to be eligible.
We seek candidates who have a demonstrated record of outstanding academic achievement, strong writing and analytical skills, relevant work experience, and participation in law school/student organizations and opportunities.
Compensation for this position is based off of an annualized salary of $225,000 per year for the 10 week program. Candidates who accept an offer for their 1L and 2L summers will be eligible to receive a scholarship in the total amount of $12,500.
