Summary
The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for an OGC (Office of the General Counsel) Intern based in the New York office. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries.
The OGC Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. The ideal candidate should have strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be willing to commit a minimum of 15 hours a week, preferably Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for a yearlong internship.

Responsibilities
- Support with several routine administrative tasks such as:
- Type and assemble correspondences and other formal documents
- Conduct research, review data collection and assist attorneys on relevant projects
- Develop and maintain organized filings systems
- Provide exceptional administrative support to attorneys and staff while maintaining communication with attorneys and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be in the process of completing an associates, undergraduate or similar degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to have strong organizational and time management while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build interpersonal relationships
- Previous office experience a plus
- Ability to commit a minimum of 15 hours a week, Tuesdays through Thursdays

- Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
- Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
- Ability to carry light objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance
- Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 15lbs

Pay Range
USD $20.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
