About the Fellowship
We believe in fostering the future generation of lawyers and actively do so through our unique litigation fellowship, a program designed for recent college graduates interested in pursuing law school.
Litigation fellows receive broad exposure to the practice of law while working under the direct supervision of firm lawyers. They provide important procedural and substantive support on a broad range of matters—from trial courts to the U.S. Supreme Court. They learn what it is like working in a fast-paced, elite litigation practice.
What You’ll Do
- Provide procedural and substantive support on active litigation matters at every level of the court system
- Conduct research and assist firm lawyers in preparing for trials and appeals
- Work directly alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment
- Develop the writing, analytical, and professional skills that define a strong legal career
Who We’re Looking For
We hire a small number of exceptional people each year. Ideal candidates are:
- Recent college graduates planning to attend law school
- Smart, detail-oriented, and highly motivated, with stellar academic credentials
- Strong writers and communicators, both on the page and in person
No prior legal experience or certifications are required.
Compensation & Logistics
- Salary: Starts at $60,000 and escalates with length of tenure
- Bonus: Based on firm and individual performance
- Term: Two years
- Locations: Fellows are required to work out of one of our offices in Washington, D.C.; Cerritos, CA; Beverly Hills, CA; or Montpelier, VT
