Job Description:
The Intern will work alongside the Compliance Team to update Contractor Employee credentials using Trapeze Ops 6, Apex and spreadsheet, along with updating vehicle IDOT records in Ops 6, updating Annual MVR and Triennial backgrounds. Essential functions include:
- Organizing and updating SharePoint.
- Updating contractor's credentials in Apex.
- Updating credentials in Ops 6.
- Entering newly hired contractor employees in Ops and Apex.
- Assisting with FTA Drug and Alcohol procedures.
- Processing accidents and incidents
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Internship Duration:
Monday, June 1, 2026 – Friday, August 14, 2026
Hours Per Week:
Up to 37.5 Hours Per Week
Rate of Pay:
$20/hr

Chicago Paratransit Office, 547 W. Jackson, 8th Floor Chicago, IL 60661
Working Conditions:
This position is based in an office setting with standard office equipment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays.
This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote telecommuting.
Qualifications
Age:
Must be 18 years if age or older.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in Business, Transportation Planning, or other related field.
Proficiencies:
Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment, lift and carry up to 25lbs, use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods.
