Malman Law, a respected personal injury law firm in the Chicago Loop, handles cases involving long-term care abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, vehicle accidents, and probate matters.
We are seeking 1L or 2L law students to join our team as Law Clerks in the following departments:
- Nursing Home & Medical Malpractice
- Probate
What You’ll Do
- Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, demand letters, and mediation statements
- Conduct legal research on litigation issues
- Review and summarize medical records
- Assist with case preparation for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
- For Probate Clerks: Draft probate paperwork for estate openings and perform research related to probate matters
Requirements
- Current enrollment in law school (1L, 2L, or 3L)
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
- Availability to work part-time, fully in-office
Pay: $18/hour
