Description
Faegre Drinker seeks applications from 1L law students interested in a 2026 Summer Associate position in one of the following cities: Chicago, Denver, Des Moines, Fort Wayne, Florham Park, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
Each 1L summer associate will also have the option to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”) 1L Scholars Program.
How to Apply
By January 16, please submit a cover letter, resume, undergraduate transcript and brief writing sample (8-10 pages). Your cover letter should provide additional insight into what you hope to contribute and what you hope to gain from participation in our summer program as well as particular ties to the geographic region in which you are interested. Please note: to accommodate law school grading timelines, we will ask you to submit a law school transcript later in the application process.

The anticipated initial weekly salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $3,076 - $4,327. Actual initial salary will be based on the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law.
