Are you interested in municipal law with a desire to serve the public interest? Join us! We are accepting applications for a Legal Support Intern in our City Attorney’s Office. Duties include: building training content and tracking engagement and completion for boards, committees, and commission members; assisting in scheduling court appearances and witnesses; updating the City’s bond book and published Code of Ordinances; assisting in preparing evidence and files; and much more! The intern will be exposed to all aspects of municipal law.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate in paralegal studies, criminal justice, legal studies, or a related field at a university or college, OR a legal support certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a law office or in a similar legal administrative support setting
Length of Internship:
- 12 hours per week Monday – Thursday through December 2026
