Description

Legal Intern – Fall Semester

The Legal Department of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) is seeking 1-2 law students for a paid internship opportunity during the Fall 2025 semester. Interns will work approximately 5–10 hours per week on a flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various areas of the Legal Department’s work. including in alternative dispute resolution, privacy, and AI governance.

Internship Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and writing on topics related to ADR, privacy law, and AI governance, among others.
Assist with internal legal analyses and memoranda.
Attend certain committee meetings and prepare meeting notes.

Qualifications

Current 1L, 2L, or 3L student at an accredited law school.
Demonstrated interest in alternative dispute resolution, privacy law, and/or AI governance.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Additional Information

Location: Remote or In-Person (NYC) (location flexibility based on intern availability)
Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week
Compensation: Paid internship - $25 per hour
