Job Summary
This internship offers hands-on mentorship in healthcare compliance, regulatory research, and auditing within a dynamic healthcare environment. Under the direction of the System Director of Compliance and Integrity and the Manager of Compliance and Integrity, the Compliance Intern will assist the Compliance and Integrity department in supporting initiatives to ensure the organization operates in alignment with federal, state, and internal regulatory standards. The Compliance and Integrity Department will provide education to the Compliance Intern on planning, coordinating, and the management of audits and third-party investigations. The Compliance and Integrity Department will train the Compliance Intern on how to develop educational materials used for staff education. This includes content related to compliance standards, Hendrick’s policies and procedures and ensure alignment with federal, state, and internal regulatory requirements.
