Position Summary
The Legal Intern is responsible for onboarding Ironclad, focusing on repository management, and provide support for NDA review processes. The ideal candidate will have an interest in corporate/business law or legal operations. This role is designed to offer valuable hands-on experience in legal operations while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Position Responsibilities
Ironclad Onboarding Support
- Upload legal documents and agreements into the Ironclad repository.
- Tag and categorize documents to ensure accurate organization and easy retrieval.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in data organization across the repository.
NDA Review Support
- Prepare initial redlines for NDAs using established templates and guidelines.
- Coordinate and track the NDA signature process to ensure timely completion.
- File and track executed NDAs to maintain compliance with internal policies.
- Final NDA approvals remain with the Senior Manager of Legal and Compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Currently pursuing a degree in law, legal studies, business, paralegal studies, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); prior exposure to contract management tools is a plus.
