Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a 1st year Associate Attorney or summer associate at KNCH. The role will involve legal analysis and writing, direct contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, conducting research, and negotiation. The position is based in Concord, CA, with the opportunity for remote work. No direct litigation experience is required but will be helpful in getting started.
Qualifications
- Legal Research Skills including West, Lexis, and related applications
- Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and related applications
- Ability to provide sound legal analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in California or eligibility for admission / bar exam pending
- Experience with litigation and general liability law is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Eagerness to learn, advance, and excel in a firm that raises partners from within
