What You Will Do

You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources, with a particular focus on learning design, creation of e-learnings, and supporting the implementation of new technologies and ways of working within the HR function. This co-op role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and procedures while contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of our HR department. We seek a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for people-oriented processes and technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Design and Development: Assist in designing and developing engaging e-learning content, including creating training materials, modules, and resources that support employee development and organizational goals.
E-Learning Implementation: Support the implementation and maintenance of e-learning platforms and systems, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience for employees.
Technology and Innovation Support: Assist in the creation and integration of new technologies and tools within the HR function, helping to streamline processes and enhance the overall HR function.
Employee Relations: Help maintain positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, assisting with conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
HR Compliance: Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
HR Projects: Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
Data Management: Assist in maintaining HR databases and generating reports as needed for analysis and decision-making.

Requirements

Applicant must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
Previous internship or co-op experience in an HR environment or in learning design and development is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills.
Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week.

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $17.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
