Job Description Summary

The Legal & Contracts Intern will perform a wide variety of tasks relating to Resonant’s contracts and agreements, assisting the VP, Legal in developing and improving Resonant’s contracts management system.

Duties/Responsibilities

How will you make an impact & Requirement

Reviewing executed contracts and agreements with customers, suppliers, vendors and other third parties.
Summarizing key contractual terms.
Filing and organizing executed contracts in electronic databases.
Assisting the VP, Legal in developing and improving Resonant’s contracts management system.
Performing other contract and legal related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills, including the ability to concisely summarize large amounts of text.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills, including interpreting complex contractual provisions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience with SharePoint or other document management platforms preferred.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and enrolled in an undergraduate college or university or law school. Law school students and aspiring law school students are encouraged to apply.
Interested in pursuing a legal career (e.g., as an attorney or paralegal).
Experience working in a law firm or a corporate or non-profit legal department preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
