Soni is currently seeking a Entry Level Legal Assistant to provide project and administrative support to a premier Global Law Firm in Atlanta, GA. The position will begin on a full-time project basis and be eligible to convert to a permanent position. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting, ever-changing, and challenging atmosphere with people who are passionate about immigration. You will be responsible for drafting documents, reporting, organizing files, and meeting deadlines for cases.

Responsibilities:

Learn about the various types of immigration matters and build knowledge of firm, immigration case types and client processes.
Perform tasks related to case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, document review, case drafting, and case filing.
With the guidance of the supervisor, communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses regarding case status or other general inquiries.
Gather and maintain confidential client contact information in our proprietary case management system.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certification
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
A client-service mindset, attention to details and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands

Compensation: $20-22/hr

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
