This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a seasoned trial attorney and gain substantial, hands-on experience across multiple areas of litigation.
About the Role
We are seeking a part-time law clerk to assist with active litigation matters. This is a substantive, writing-intensive role with direct attorney mentorship—not a purely administrative position. The ideal candidate is interested in litigation, courtroom strategy, and developing strong legal writing skills. Key Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda Assist with discovery (propounding, responding, and analysis) Conduct legal research (Lexis) Prepare deposition summaries and case analyses Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy Draft correspondence and client-related materials Qualifications Current law student (2L/3L preferred) or recent graduate (post-bar welcome) Strong legal research and writing skills (writing sample required) Interest in litigation and trial practice Prior litigation experience preferred Familiarity with California procedure is a plus Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines Compensation & Schedule $25–$30/hour (depending on experience) 10–25 hours per week (flexible schedule) Hybrid / in-office (Pasadena / Los Angeles area preferred)
