Complete an internship project at SOPHiA GENETICS whose mission is to build the future of AI-assisted medicine. Joining the Legal Affairs team as a Legal Assistant Intern.
Your mission:
Reporting to the Commercial Legal Counsel, as a Legal Assistant Intern, you will help with the daily review of agreements, including but not limited to NDAs and MTAs and will assist the Legal team with the review of other commercial agreements, and agreements related to Business Development and BioPharma opportunities. You will also help with the implementation of internal Legal AI tools.
You will be involved in:
- Assist in building the database and playbooks for an internal Legal AI tool
- Supervised review and prep of contracts/amendments including contract extensions, confidentiality agreements, and commercial agreements
- Support legal operations and contract management systems
- Ad hoc legal research, including surveying differences between US State laws and international laws

Requirements
- A JD candidate (currently enrolled in law school)
- Good knowledge of commercial law
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Pragmatic individual
- Dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented personality with a natural curiosity for learning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a dynamic, evolving environment
- Fluency in English

Location: Boston, office based at least 3 days/week

Contract type: Internship 3 months
Salary range: $23-$25/hour
