Cytek is seeking 2 highly motivated Summer Legal Interns to join its Legal Department. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a current undergraduate, graduate, or law student interested in pursuing a legal career to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and rapidly growing biotechnology company with global operations.
The Legal Intern will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer and support legal initiatives across multiple areas of business, including commercial operations, intellectual property, corporate governance, compliance, and international business activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will assist the Legal Department with a variety of projects and responsibilities, including:
- Assisting with the drafting, review, and negotiation of standard commercial agreements in collaboration with internal teams such as sales, marketing, research and development, finance, operations, business development, and human resources.
- Supporting legal matters related to international operations, including distribution agreements, data privacy, HR matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Assisting with intellectual property portfolio management and review of marketing and promotional materials.
- Supporting business development transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Assisting with corporate governance, SEC reporting, securities matters, and global compliance programs, as needed.
- Maintaining legal databases and supporting document organization and records management.
- Conducting legal research and preparing summaries or memoranda on relevant topics.
- Supporting special projects and cross-functional initiatives led by the Legal Department.

Qualifications and Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or J.D. program at an accredited U.S. college or university OR graduating in Spring 2026 with a major in law, legal studies, or a related field.
- Ability to complete an 8–10 weeks internship between June and August.
- Must be able to work on site for the duration of the internship.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in law, particularly within the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgment.
