Job Description
As a Legal Department Intern with Ryman Hospitality Properties (RHP), you'll engage in experiential learning by supporting the daily operations of a corporate legal department. You'll gain hands-on experience in a wide range of business matters, including legal research, document drafting, and administrative support. As the ideal candidate, you bring strong research and analytical skills, attention to detail, and interest in entertainment and hospitality law with eagerness to build foundational legal experience.
Our 12-week paid internship program offers current students hands-on experience in corporate and operations functions across our Nashville market. The program begins Monday, May 18th and will conclude Friday, August 7th. Interns will work up to 40 hours per week in office or venue settings.

These are in-person positions based in Nashville, Tennessee. Remote work, relocation assistance, and visa sponsorship are not available. Job Responsibilities
• Draft, proof, and edit contract templates, employee agreements, and other legal documents, including invoices and enclosures.
• Organize legal memoranda and related correspondence to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Research documents and publications for details to support ad-hoc projects and inquiries.
• Attend in-house meetings when appropriate to gain insight into corporate legal operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Regular and reliable attendance is an expectation of this job.
Requirements
Education
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying Law, or related field
• 1+ years’ completed coursework in Law, or related field
Experience
• Experience with reading, summarizing, and analyzing documents and case materials
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Able to take initiative on individual tasks while working collaboratively with a team\
• Positive, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to think on your feet and handle new challenges
• Able to manage multiple workstreams while meeting critical deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
