Internship Overview
Powell’s 10-week paid internship program offers college students hands-on experience, professional training, and the opportunity to make an impact through a meaningful project aligned with your field of study. As a Corporate Legal/Finance Intern, you’ll focus on compliance and reporting, gaining valuable skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Project Focus
- Intern Project: Global Trade Compliance Metrics/Audit; Support TSCA Reporting PFAS
- Expected Deliverables:
- Documented Risk Matrix and Audit Framework for trade compliance metrics (e.g. accuracy of import/export, preferential duty claims, classifications, verification of sanctions and screening compliance)
- Consolidated PFAS data from foreign supplier declarations, formatted to conform to required TSCA reporting on imported PFAS content de on July 31, 2026
- How does this project benefit Powell or your functional area?
- Provides framework to improve visibility and oversight of trade compliance priority areas going forward
- Supports Powell team in data gathering to enable completion of PFAS reporting by the deadline
- Desired Major: Business and/or Pre-Law

Who We’re Looking For
- We seek motivated, curious, and driven students with the following qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Pre-Law, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Rising Junior or Senior continuing studies in Fall 2027.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and strong academic standing.
- Team player with strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a dependable, can-do attitude.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with finance and data analysis.
