About The Role
As a Summer Associate Attorney, you’ll work closely with our experienced attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to learn the ins and outs of family law practice. You’ll support real client cases, sit in on strategy sessions, attend court hearings, and help move cases forward with care, precision, and professionalism.
This position is ideal for law students who are passionate about family law and eager to gain practical experience in a high-impact, client-centered environment.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and client correspondence
- Observe and assist with mediations, hearings, and client meetings
- Help develop case strategies and prepare trial materials
- Review discovery responses and organize case files
- Shadow attorneys in court and collaborate with legal teams
- Participate in weekly team meetings and trainings
- Assist with internal projects related to systems, processes, and client service
What We’re Looking For
- Rising 2L or 3L law student in good academic standing
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism
- Interest in family law and a desire to help families through difficult transitions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
