The Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will support various aspects of Cox Castle’s attorney recruiting and hiring initiatives, for summer associates and associates. The coordinator will report to the Chief Strategy & Development Officer and work closely with the existing Attorney Recruiting Coordinator as well as members of the firm’s Recruiting Committee. This position offers significant exposure to professionals throughout the firm and provides an excellent opportunity for advancement. Based in the Los Angeles office, the coordinator will assist Cox Castle’s three offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Foster positive relationships with law school career services professionals and attorney recruiters.
- Post job openings and source law student and associate candidates.
- Review candidate submissions and circulate potential candidates to department leaders.
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (viDesktop).
- Coordinate the planning and execution of the summer associate program, including onboarding, training, and social events. (A typical summer class ranges from three to four students.)
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of three (3) years of prior law firm experience in legal personnel, legal recruiting, professional development, or similar function.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well with all levels of firm personnel, establish effective working relationships throughout the firm and react to challenging situations appropriately.
- Ability to respect, protect, and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Exceptional client service, both internal and external.
- Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary.
- Experience with viDesktop is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
