Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator - Law School and Entry Level
Reports To: Director of Attorney Recruitment
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our mid-sized law firm. This role will focus on managing on-campus recruiting, the summer associate program, and entry-level associate hiring. The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Attorney Recruitment and collaborate with the other recruiting team members. This is a firm wide role.
The typical schedule will consist of 7.5 hours per day, equating to 37.5 hours per week. There are no direct reports for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Summer Associate Program Management
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the Summer Associate Program. This includes onboarding, planning summer events, lunch & learning curriculums, etc.
- Manage the entry-level budget for summer program.
- Work closely with local offices to execute the summer program.
- Oversee daily management of summer associate assignments, schedules, and feedback alongside the work captain.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for summer associates, addressing inquiries and employment matters.
- Collect and analyze program feedback from participants and staff, recommending improvements as needed.
Entry-Level Recruitment
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level associates.
- Manage the entry-level budget for on campus events and networking events.
- Manage on-campus interview (OCI) registration forms for law schools and coordinate interviews for attorneys and candidates.
- Assist with the selection process of candidate for OCI’s and callback interviews.
- Coordinate callback interviews, including travel arrangements and scheduling.
- Assist in drafting and distributing offer letters and onboarding materials.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Flo Recruit).
- Serve as a liaison to law schools, directors, and other recruiting professionals.
On-Campus Recruiting
- Plan and execute on-campus recruitment events (career fairs, mock interviews, and law school events).
- Plan and execute digital recruiting events utilizing technology.
- Execute off-campus and firm recruitment events (for example, Home for the Holidays).
- Build and maintain relationships with law school career services and student organizations.
- Post job openings on law school job boards.
- Travel to campuses during peak recruiting seasons as needed.
- Assist in developing campus marketing materials and promotional content.
General Recruiting Support
- Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Community Engagement departments on onboarding and employee experience initiatives.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics and candidate data.
- Track expenditures and assist with budget reporting.
Requirements:
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting students and on-campus recruiting, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- AmLaw 200 law firm experience a plus.
- Experience utilizing technology and innovative recruiting platforms.
- Familiarity with Flo Recruit is highly desirable.
