Performs routine clerical and administrative functions, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, scheduling depositions, scheduling hearing, organizing and maintaining records, providing information to callers.
Types and proofs variety of letters in an accurate and efficient fashion. Answers telephones, routes call, takes messages and/or provides information in accordance with company policy. Reads, routes and scans incoming mail. Schedules meetings and appointments for attorneys such as conferences, depositions, hearings Issues subpoenas and follows up on outstanding records Establishes and maintains files and records Performs a variety of clerical duties.
Assists with billing of legal services-will train Reviews accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of legal billing. Analyzes and maintains reports to ensure timely submission of legal billing Provides information to insurance carriers regarding legal billing Assists attorneys with time entries Experience with LEDES formatting, submission of invoices to multiple 3rd-party vendors and knowledge of submitting appeals preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team
