Clerkship Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated law student to join our legal team and assist the two attorneys in our offices. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience in research and writing. This opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of practice areas, exposure to diverse legal issues, and a chance to meet and network with some of the top lawyers in the State of Texas.
Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Law Clerk, located in San Antonio, TX. Hours may be part-time (20-30) or full-time (up to 40). The Law Clerk will be responsible for assisting attorneys with legal research, attending meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings, preparing and reviewing legal documents, drafting memos and briefs, and maintaining case files. The Law Clerk will also support communication with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
Qualifications
- Completed at least one year of law school
- Excellent Research and Writing skills
- Effective Communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team
