Legal Assistant / Legal Analyst: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Legal Analyst to join our dynamic legal team at MKC Law Group (www.mkclawgroup.com). Summer Law Clerk position: Seeking Law Student for summer position (and possibly continuing during the school year part time). Legal research, writing memos, litigation assignments, and other legal projects. Great experience for the right person.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research using tools such as to support case preparation and litigation strategies.
Manage case files and maintain organized records for easy retrieval and reference.
Communicate with clients and gather necessary information for cases; communicate with court and other attorneys.
Utilize project management skills to track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Support the litigation process by preparing trial materials and coordinating with court personnel as needed.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals.
Assist in other matters gathering evidence and documentation relevant.
Preparing draft documents.

Skills

Proficiency in legal research tools such as is preferred. (Not required)
Strong project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
