Job Summary:

Methode Electronics is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Law summer intern to support our corporate legal team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and due diligence while working closely with experienced legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in organizing corporate documents, including contracts, licenses and policies
Conduct research on corporate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Support due diligence processes for corporate transactions
Perform general administrative and legal support tasks
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with the intention to pursue a law degree (rising junior or senior preferred)
Interest in corporate law, commercial law, or business law
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $24-26/hr.

Note: Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a permanent basis post-graduation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
