Company Overview:

A boutique firm is seeking an Legal Assistant/Receptionist to manage front desk operations and provide legal assistant support, offering a dynamic environment for growth and learning.

Job Responsibilities:

Answer main line calls and handle requests sent to the reception email
Schedule conference rooms and manage the shared calendar
Place catering orders for meetings and schedule restaurant reservations for partners
Add guests to the security system and greet them upon arrival
Coordinate with facilities for deliveries, office complaints, and mail/freight deliveries
Prepare FedEx shipments and perform scanning tasks
Maintain supply inventory and coordinate with IT
Help coordinate and schedule events, including happy hours
Insert TOCs/TOAs and create pleading pages
Place documents on letterhead, fix formatting issues, and proofread
Create indexes and discard documents
Perform data entry for discovery and research documents
Add partner time and expense reimbursement to Orion
Organize binders and manage new client matters

Qualifications:

Previous admin or legal assistant experience preferred; training provided for junior candidates
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage scheduling, reception, and office coordination
Ability to handle confidential information and support basic legal tasks
Reliable, full-time availability onsite
Eagerness to learn and grow within a boutique firm

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $28 – $35/hr
