Position Overview

Community Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a Rule 9 Legal Intern to assist with a broad range of civil matters. This paid internship is designed for 3L law students who are eligible for Rule 9 licensing.

Key Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
Participate in client interviews and assist with case strategy.
Appear in court under attorney supervision for hearings and procedural matters.
Collaborate with attorneys on case preparation and file management.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in law school (2L or 3L) and Rule 9 eligible.
Strong legal writing and research skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Interest in general civil practice and client advocacy.
Professionalism and excellent communication.

Hours and Compensation

Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week.
Competitive hourly rate between $25–$35 depending on experience.
Flexible start date; immediate availability preferred.
