About The Program

The Circle Internship Program is a 12-week, remote-first experience running from May 26 to August 14, 2026. The program includes three in-person experiences designed to deepen learning and connection:

Circle Forward Week in Miami
Development Week in San Francisco
Final Showcase Week at Circle's New York City HQ in One World Trade Center

What You'll Be Responsible For

You will contribute to live, high-impact matters across Circle's core growth areas, including M&A and strategic transactions, corporate governance, capital markets initiatives, and commercial transactions.

What You'll Work On

Conduct legal research and issue-spotting.
Draft and revise transaction-related documents.
Conduct legal due diligence.
Track deal terms.
Contribute to the development of internal playbooks.
Support corporate governance matters.
Assist with public company filings.
Assist with subsidiary management.
Support corporate finance initiatives.

Core Requirements

What you'll bring to Circle:

Enrollment at a top law school (T-14 preferred) - completion of 1L year required.
Strong academic performance.
Demonstrated interest in deal work, venture investing, corporate governance, capital markets, corporate finance, and/or commercial transactions.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Passion for Circle's mission and values.
Comfort working outside your comfort zone in an evolving and growing environment.
Strong business judgment, problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements

Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, GSuite.
Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.

Base Pay Range: $35.00-$35.00
