Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Legal Intern who will be responsible for supporting the Ethics and legal departments adhere to the highest standards of business practices. Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

The position will be based in Los Angeles, CA, and will offer flexibility for hybrid remote/in-office work options. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

Research relevant ethical and legal issues assigned to by team
Assist in developing compliance guidelines and ethical frameworks.
Contribute to policy analysis and documentation.
Assist in contract review, discovery, and other litigation support functions.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a focus on pursuing a career in law or a related educational field.
Must have completed at least 3 years of study

Preferred Qualifications

Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from experienced professionals.
Able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
Willingness to work in-office at least three days per week.
